TEXAS BEST BASS FISHING!!

Call Arch at (832) 368-0691 and let's go catching!!

WELCOME TO MY OFFICE!!

MARCH 20, 2018 - It's mid-March and the fishing is really good right now. The LCRA has put some water back in the lake and now the reeds have some good depth to them. Topwater fishing has been sporadic, but when it's on it's awesome!! Most of my fish the last couple of weeks have been coming on crankbaits and JB Jigz. We're averaging around 30-50 bass per trip in the 2-5 pound range, but there are some giants out there right now. I lost the largest bass I've every seen on Fayette County Lake last weekend on a crankbait - I got to see her but couldn't turn her and she pulled off - easy double digit fish!! I then stuck a 6+ pounder on the next cast and lost her at the boat trying to lip her - the bill of my crankbait broke off!! Lesson learned - make sure and have the net out. Fishing should continue to be excellent for the foreseeable future, so give me a shout and let's go catch 'em!!

Come join us for some of the best bass fishing in the country!

Fayette County Lake has consistently been named as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country, and it's not uncommon to experience 50-100 fish days, and catch them on a variety of techniques.  The average bass size is 2-3 pounds, but fish in the 4-8 pound range are very common.  Fayette County Lake is always good fishing, but October through June can be incredible!!
